Eredivisie outfit AZ are likely to lose yet another promising youngster to a big foreign club. According to the French press, Olympique Lyon are closing in on 15-year-old midfielder Adam Maher. Lyon have reportedly scouted the highly rated midfielder in several matches this season. Maher impressed the French scouts and the Ligue 1 side decided to offer him a five-year-deal. Additionally, they have offered Maher's parents a job. It's impossible for a Dutch club to offer a contract to a player before he reaches the age of sixteen. This gives foreign sides, for example English or French teams, a huge advantage in attracting big talents from The Netherlands. Maher looks set to be a talent to look out for with possible competition from Man Utd for his signature.
