Alexsandar Dragovic is currently viewed as one of the best prospects in Austrian football, but it is doubtful that he will remain in this league for much longer, with rumoured interest from Stuttgart and Chelsea. Dragovic was born in Serbia, but has grown up in Austria and has chosen them as his preferred country. He is a member of the Austria U17 squad. He was offered a short-term deal for the 08/09 season, and made his professional debut in the 2-2 draw with Stadtwerke Kapfenberg on 13th July. He came on in the next match, and his performances were so impressive he earned a new contract until 2011. Since then, he failed to get any more game time, but was on the bench frequently. After Austria Wien hit a rough patch, he was given his first start, and has impressed watching scouts since.
